Pacific Oaks College is a nonprofit, regionally accredited higher education institution, offering California teacher credentialing programs and bachelor’s and master’s programs in education, human development, marriage and family therapy, social work, business and management, and more. It operates its campus out of Pasadena, CA along with a robust online program.
Founded over 75 years ago by a small group of Quaker families, Pacific Oaks is guided by our four core values of respect, diversity, social justice, and inclusion. The institution is known and recognized for its pioneering efforts to reduce bias within our nation’s education system, and for equipping graduates with the skills they need to help people from diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and strengths uncover and realize their unique individual potentials.
Please note: For the protection of all who enter our facilities, Pacific Oaks has made the decision to require that all faculty, staff, and students be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Effective November 1, 2021, as a condition of employment, all employees will be required to be fully vaccinated, unless fully remote or granted a deferral or exemption.
