Chiquita L. "Quita" Waters has spent the majority of her career in Education and Human Services, providing valuable problem-solving strategies to students, parents, teachers, educational organizations, collective academic governing bodies, and school administrators. Her goal has been to help develop actionable and statistically supported solutions, ultimately guiding other educators in finding innovative and sustainable ways to transform teaching and learning. Her areas of expertise include organizational leadership, professional development, program assessment and developing systems for quality assurance.
For the past 18 years, Ms. Waters has instructed classes at Pacific Oaks College. For past eight years she has served in a Sr. Adjunct position. She has developed courses for the College in Qualitative Research, Educational Leadership, Team Building, Communications for Empowerment, Conflict Resolution, and Working with Diverse Communities, to name only a few.
Quita Waters received both her Bachelor of Arts and her Master of Arts in Human Development with an emphasis on Leadership in Education and Parent/Community Work from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California
