Currently, I am employed as a Resource Service Program (RSP) provider with LAUSD. Previously, I have delivered instruction in a special day class (SDC) Autism-Core educational setting at a Title I site, with an underserved and large EL population. I maintain a current caseload of approximately 28 students with initial, 3-year, re-eval, and transition IEPs, in addition to private school students that reside within the boundary lines and qualify based on their residence location thus, the site being their respective home school.
I have served as a board member on two nonprofit organizations: Raise a Child a nonprofit devoted to the development and identification of prospective foster and adoptive families and providing support to meet the needs of the 437,000 children in the foster care system. The second nonprofit is an Arts Council, an organization focused on the integration of arts into public schools at Title I sites in Los Angeles County.
