She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles, CA, and a Master of Science in Leadership & Management from the University of La Verne, La Verne, CA.

Dr. Gray's most notable scholarship accomplishments and contributions to leadership and STEM communities include authoring a quantitative dissertation on Factors in the Career Advancement of Women Leaders of Color in IT. In addition, her published research will help advance the knowledge of diversity and inclusion and how mentorship, career sponsorship, and leadership behaviors affect the career advancement of women leaders of color in IT. Her research interests are the psychology of group dynamics and intergroup relations, including unconscious biases, stereotyping, intergroup conflict, and conflict-also the influence of culture and ethnicity on social cognition, behavior, and identity. Additionally, in 2021 she received the Women of Color STEM Technology All-Star Award for her significant contributions to the technology profession, and in 2022 she received the She Inspires Me Award (SIMA), recognition for mentoring and volunteerism.
In her free time, she enjoys nature, quiet time at the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
