Biography

Dr. Tammi Gray is an equity-minded Social Psychologist .with multidisciplinary experience in organizational leadership and development. Her expertise and complementary skills in Information Technology (IT), Global Business Operations, and Human Resources Management (HRM) have helped organizations transform through change seamlessly while forging a trajectory of sustainability and innovation. Moreover, leading global, distal, and proximal teams in collaborative efforts to develop technological solutions in healthcare, life sciences, media, higher education, and financial service industries is an area she is passionate and deeply invested. More specifically, Dr. Gray has worked in IT and HRM in a formal leadership capacity, managing divisions and departments and helping teams optimize performance and output. Additionally, her professional portfolio includes consulting in organizational leadership & development, growth strategy & performance optimization through utilizing behavioral management to modify and ameliorate human performance systems in the workplace.

Dr. Gray's most notable accomplishments and contributions to academic research and technology entail completing her doctoral journey, culminating with a quantitative dissertation study on Factors in the Career Advancement of Women Leaders of Color in IT. This research will advance the body of knowledge by analyzing the impact of mentorship, career sponsorship, and leadership behaviors that contribute to the career advancement of women leaders of color in IT. Additionally, Dr. Gray is the recipient of the 2021 Women of Color STEM Technology All-Star award, recognizing her significant contributions to the technology profession.

Dr. Gray is passionate about serving and advocating for disenfranchised populations and bridging inequality for women, girls, and boys in educational and professional structures. Expressing her love for service, Dr. Gray volunteers for the American Association of University Women (AAUW) as Communications Editor. She also serves as the Co-Director of the Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs (GSFE).
