Biography

As an adjunct fieldwork supervisor, I come to Pacific Oaks as an educator with 20 years in the field - 16 years as a general educator, 2 years in administration (Catholic schools) and currently as a Resource Specialist teacher in public schools.

I value community and the power it can have in supporting and encouraging children in achieving their goals. In my professional role I am a Resource Specialist teacher for a K-8 school in East San Jose, which is where I grew up. I teach in the same schools that I attended as a child and where my great-grandparents, aunts, and father all worked. In my personal role, I am a mom of three adults and happily married for over 28 years.

I inspire adults and children to achieve beyond what they think is possible, so that they can contribute to making the world a better place for everyone.
